    • Payment Information: If a customer chooses to save a card on file, full card details may be securely stored by Housecall Pro (HCP) on our behalf.

    • Photos: Images of appliances, the work area, or related property, collected for diagnostic, service, safety, training, or documentation purposes. These are stored privately and may be shared only if necessary in legal or insurance matters.

    • Communication Records: Calls, text messages (SMS/MMS), and service notes related to your job.

    • Website Data: If you use our website, we may collect non-identifying technical information such as cookies, IP address, and browser type.
2. Data Retention

We retain service records, including communication logs, invoices, and photos, as long as necessary for warranty support, tax compliance, or legal purposes. In most cases, records are retained for at least seven (7) years unless a longer retention period is required by law.

No mobile information will be shared with third parties/affiliates for marketing/promotional purposes. All other categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.

 
4. Calls & SMS Messaging

     

    • Consent to Texting: By providing your phone number, you consent to receive SMS or MMS messages related to your service (such as scheduling, updates, arrival notices, and follow-up communication).

    • Inbound SMS: If you text our business number, you consent to receive replies related to your inquiry.

    • Automated Messages: Housecall Pro may send automated messages (such as appointment confirmations, reminders, or receipts). We may also send or respond to messages through the same number.

    • Opt-Out: You may opt out of SMS at any time by replying STOP. To request help, reply HELP. Standard message and data rates may apply.

5. Housecall Pro (HCP) Services

We use Housecall Pro to manage scheduling, dispatch, estimates, invoices, communication, and payment processing.

     

    • When you book service, your information is stored in HCP’s secure system.

    • If you save a card on file, payment details are securely stored by HCP on our behalf.

    • HCP may send automated text messages or emails to you (e.g., appointment confirmations, reminders, invoices, receipts).

    • We may also chat with you directly using HCP’s messaging system.

6. Sharing of Information

We may share your information only in the following cases:

     

    • Service Partners: With trusted subcontractors, technicians, or delivery partners solely for completing your service.

    • Legal/Insurance Matters: If required for claims, disputes, inspections, or legal obligations.

    • Business Operations: With vendors who provide IT, communications, or financial services to us (e.g., HCP, payment processors).

We take reasonable precautions to protect your information, including:

     

    • Using secure third-party platforms for scheduling and payments.
