How do I schedule service?
What happens during a service visit?
The technician will first listen to your description of the problem, then begin diagnosing the appliance.
Once the issue is identified, you will receive a repair estimate and have the opportunity to ask questions before deciding whether to proceed.
During your visit you can expect:
A trained technician arriving with the proper tools
Diagnosis of the appliance problem
A clear repair quote before work begins
Travel to your home included in the visit
A 1-year warranty on parts and labor we install
Honest advice about whether repair makes sense
You only move forward with the repair if you approve it.
Do you offer a warranty on repairs?
Yes. All repairs we complete are backed by our 1-year parts and labor warranty on the components we install.
Is it better to repair or replace my appliance?
It depends on the age of the appliance, the cost of the repair, and the overall condition of the unit.
In many cases, repairing an appliance is far more affordable than replacing itโespecially for common issues like pumps, heating elements, sensors, or switches. However, if the appliance is very old or the repair involves a major component, replacement may make more sense.
During the diagnostic visit, weโll explain the issue, provide a repair estimate, and give you honest advice so you can decide what makes the most sense.
Repair is often more convenient as well. Replacing an appliance can involve shopping, delivery scheduling, installation, hauling away the old unit, and other added costs. With repair, we come to you and almost always have the appliance repaired within a couple of days or sooner.
Repair is also the more environmentally friendly option in many cases. Extending the life of an appliance helps reduce waste and keeps large appliances out of landfills.
All repairs we complete are backed by our 1-year parts and labor warranty.
Do you offer appliance repair for property managers or landlords?
Yes. We regularly work with property managers, landlords, and short-term rental property owners, and offer discounted rates for qualifying accounts.
We can schedule directly with tenants (or with you, if you prefer), provide you clear repair estimates, and communicate updates throughout the process. If approval is required, we will contact you before proceeding with the repair.
If you manage multiple properties, weโre happy to discuss streamlined options for handling service requests.
What if I decide not to repair the appliance?
If you choose not to proceed with the repair, you simply pay the diagnostic fee for the technicianโs time and diagnosis.
Do you offer discounts for multiple appliances?
Yes. If we look at more than one appliance during the same visit, we can often reduce the diagnostic cost for each additional appliance.

โข You authorize us to enter before we arrive.

How should I prepare before the technician arrives?
DIY repairs
If you previously attempted repairs, please reassemble the appliance before the visit so it can be tested properly.
Installation
Leave appliances installed and ready to operate.
Breaker access
Ensure we have access to the electrical breaker panel if needed.
Refrigerators
If possible, leave them running so we can observe temperatures or ice buildup.
Work area
Clear the area around the appliance so it can be moved if necessary.
Safety
Please keep children and pets away from the work area.
Can I bring an appliance to your location?
In-shop service may be available upon request. Give us a call or text to discuss current options: 208-656-1883
How long does a typical repair take?
Most repairs take 30โ90 minutes once the issue is diagnosed.
If a part needs to be ordered, we will return to complete the repair as soon as it arrives. Most repairs are completed within a couple of days.
What types of appliances do you repair?
We repair most major household appliances, including:
- Washers
- Dryers
- Ranges and ovens
- Dishwashers
- Refrigerators (excluding sealed system repairs)
We currently service electric appliances only and do not repair gas or propane appliances.
What brands do you service?
We service most major appliance brands, including Whirlpool, Maytag, Amana, Frigidaire, GE, Electrolux, LG, Speed Queen, and many others.
Do you repair gas or propane appliances?
At this time, we primarily service electric appliances and do not currently offer repair for gas or propane appliances.
We may offer gas appliance repair in the future as we expand our services. If you have a question about a specific appliance, feel free to call or text us and weโll be happy to help however we can.
Can I provide my own part and have you install it?
In most cases, we do not install customer-supplied parts. We typically use OEM (original manufacturer) parts so we know the part is correct for the appliance and the repair is done reliably.
Many appliances have multiple part variations depending on the model and serial number, and installing the wrong part can lead to additional issues or repeat repairs. Using our parts also allows us to stand behind the repair with our 1-year parts and labor warranty.
If you have already purchased a part, feel free to mention it when scheduling. In some cases we may still be able to install it, but repairs involving customer-supplied parts would not include a warranty, and we canโt guarantee the outcome since we didnโt source the part ourselves.
